Finishing projects.

I finished C blue socks last week and he's very happy with them, her wore them for 2 days straight (smelly feet galore). They are ready to be washed and back onto his lP1280006ittle(BIG) feet.

Friday was UFO night at commuknity, I worked on getting the heels done on another pair of socks for me. I'll be done with those later today, also I got to learn how to knit  socks with one long circular needle. It was a fun night, a good brake and I met some really nice ladies. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next month, although I'm not sure since I'll be taking a class at Stitches West and will be there all day Friday and Saturday.

I love babies

Today I received an email from my sister (all my family is in Ecuador), with some photos of my nephew, he was born in September and I have not met him yet, Hopefully this summer.

I just had to share his photo. He's so cute... don't you think?

I got the kids to school early to be able to make my signup on a timely manner, I missed out on the last round. I can't wait to see who my sockpal is, I'll be doing all the updates here.

In the mean time I will be finishig up these socks for my son with Fancy Image yarn in blue with Wendy's toe up sock pattern, I even did all the math myself! yeah me!

Finally.... a blog!

I've been playing with the idea of creating a blog but have stopped myself a few times, anyway I think I'm ready now and what can I say, everyone (or almost everyone) who knits has one; plus I enjoy reading other blogs and seeing all the nice knits all around the world.

Please forgive my grammar I'm not a great writter and let's face it I only learned english 14+ years ago (that's how long I've been married) and my hubby didn't speak a word of spanish when we met!

Anyway I'll be joining Alison's sockapalooza tomorrow... I can't wait.. tic-toc-tic-toc.
