More spinning

Pa290016 New project: Sheep2shoe kit from Blue Moon Fiber arts, color Rooster Rock, It's really just a super long strip of roving, dyed, I'm supposed to divided in 3 parts, spin and make a 3 ply yarn, I really want to see how long this will take. I love the colors. I will post pictures of my progress tomorrow, I also wanted to join the knitalong for spinning and knitting socks with your yarn. It looks like fun.

Good things

Life is good, on socktoberfest I managed to finished two pairs of socks these (lana grossa)with garter sitich heel and toe.

Pa150022 and these (socks that rock medium weight) I actually tried a new technique (magic loop) and although it took me a while to get used to it I really like it.

I'm also done with the spinning class, I learned a lot mostly that it takes a lot of practice to get good at it. I finished spinning the Crown mountain farms superwash roving, I plied it and I'm happy with the results, for my first time is pretty good (I think).

Pa290015 I filled 2 bobbins and came out with over 500 yards of fingering weight yarn, I still have roving left. The colors on the yarn ran a little bit, this colorway has lots of reddish pinkish on it, but I like it.
